Missing home a little extra today. As we travel across Europe, I can’t help but reflect on how much my music has shifted and grown over the years and it all comes back to home. This strange swathe of prairie has proven my greatest inspiration time and time again. Soon enough I’ll be back under big skies with a new batch of spring calves to keep from keeling over. Until then I’ll just continue singing about it.
Ps. The little fella next to me is my nephew Lane and he’s 100% a better hand than me.
Getting to watch @belleplainemusic charm these European crowds has been a great source of pride for me. Saskatchewan is full of incredible storytellers and Melanie and her fella @blakeberglund are amongst the best. Glad to have you guys out here!
European tour starts tonight in Bristol with my buddy @belleplainemusic opening the show! See colterwall.com for all dates and info. Link in Bio.

Had the privilege of watching these gentleman sing and tell stories at this year’s @cowboypoetrygathering. I’ve since worn out both of these albums and I’m embarrassed it’s taken me this long to do so. They’re each western masterpieces as far as I’m concerned.
Put her in a snow bank today. The boys are all fine and we eventually made it out. Sadly our show in Grand Junction is postponed till further notice due to the storm and avalanches here in Colorado. Shout out to Pete in Silverton for towing us out of there.
Pouring one out for the Kid in Fort Sumner.
The boys and I are Lubbock bound! Solly’s floating head will also be there.
